Supplementary knowledge and on-the-job training are placed into practical sense and understanding of the current electrical codes. This class will provide intensive study of the Following:

- Electrical Code version specified by PSI
Maryland dictates that anyone who constructs, alters, replaces and/or repairs plumbing shall complete the requirements and be licensed as a Journey Person's.

Advanced MEP Blueprint Reading
This series of classes focuses on construction drawing elements important to individuals specializing in the HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical trades. Commercial projects often consist of highly complex systems and components for the MEP trades. Topics to include, but not limited to the following:
- Common Mechanical & Electrical Symbols and their meaning
- Abbreviations and terminology used on MEP Plans
- Understanding design intent through interpreting MEP plans, sections and details
- Understanding and gathering pertinent information from specifications

Fire Alarm Basics
This is a 12-hour course where the student will learn how to install, test, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems. This course is for any student with little to no knowledge of how a fire alarm system operates. Upon completion, students will understand the basics of how to install, test and troubleshoot a buildings fire alarm system.
